My Favorite Go To Breakfast Smoothie

September 28, 2017 By Milen Gala

So many of you have asked me what my go to morning green smoothie is, so I’m just going to get right to it. This is my every single day green smoothie breakfast blend. It’s creamy, sweet, and super delicious. Sometimes I make a batch or two… or three jarfuls and drink them throughout the day. Or save one for my hubby to have when he gets home from a long day.

I think the key to having a really good regular green smoothie is to keep the ingredients simple and on hand. I like to make mine tasty and sweet so I look forward to having it every morning. I stick to a combination of fruit and greens to make it easy to digest and keep it non-bloating. And I always add avocado to maximize the creaminess. Adding in additional protein powders and any type of nut butters or seeds is never on the agenda – as I find it adds unnecessary heaviness – calories and fat.

You can rotate the greens adding in spring mix, etc as you wish. A whole orange or stick of celery also adds a nice twist. But this is my favorite combination. I hope you find this recipe easy to make, delicious, and as satisfying as I do.

Here’s to your health, on nutrient dense, phytochemical packed, clean green protein breakfast smoothie at a time 🙂
